Laser and radio wave removal of skin tumors
Laser (or radio wave knife) removal of tumors is a method of removing various formations on the skin and mucous membranes using laser equipment or a radio wave knife. This method can remove such benign tumors as papillomas, warts, moles, vascular lesions, and other harmless tumors.

Stages of the procedure
First, the patient has a consultation with a doctor to determine the need for the procedure and choose the appropriate type of therapy.
Then preparation for the procedure is carried out, including skin cleansing and application of a local anesthetic.
The next stage is the removal of the tumor, using one or another method (laser or radio wave knife). During the procedure, the removed element is fixed and sent to the laboratory for histological examination. After the procedure, the patient is given a bandage and recommendations for wound care.

How the session goes in our clinic
Before removing any skin growth, it is necessary to diagnose it. A dermatologist examines the patient, takes anamnesis and performs a dermatoscopy of the neoplasm. In our clinic, all doctors have been trained in dermatoscopy, and we use several different dermatoscopes in our work. This is a very important stage of diagnosis, which helps to recognize the details of the neoplasm invisible to the naked eye. An experienced doctor makes a diagnosis based on all the data and only then determines the indications for removal of the tumor.
We always carry out the actual removal of the tumor under local anesthesia, we use the most modern anesthetics that minimize the likelihood of allergies. For laser removal, we use a Deka CO2 laser (Italy), for radio wave removal – a Surgyderm device (USA). The removed element (neoplasm) is sent for histological examination to confirm the clinical diagnosis.
After the wound is treated and a bandage is applied (if necessary), the patient receives recommendations and prescriptions for wound care until it is completely healed.

Indications
Indications for laser removal of tumors include benign tumors such as moles, papillomas, corns, and warts that may cause discomfort or be aesthetically undesirable. Laser (or radio wave) removal can also be used to treat certain types of skin cancer (basal cell carcinomas, epitheliomas).
Contraindications
However, some patients may have contraindications for laser tumor removal, such as pregnancy, active inflammation in the tumor area, photosensitivity, or blood clotting disorders. It is extremely important to consult a specialist before the procedure, who will take into account all the pros and cons and help you make a decision about the removal of the tumor.
