Laser removal of blood vessels
Laser vascular removal is a procedure where laser radiation is used to eliminate superficial vascular defects on the skin, such as couperose, rosacea, or telangiectasia. The essence of laser vascular removal is that intense light energy is absorbed by the “target”, in our case, a red vessel. When absorbed, light energy is transformed into heat energy, and the vessel “burns”, which subsequently leads to its closure.
Stages of the procedure
This procedure begins with cleansing the skin and disinfecting it. Then the aesthetician chooses the parameters of the treatment according to the type, size of the vessels and their location.
The procedure is performed sequentially on all visible vessels, moving the laser beam along the vessel. The patient feels a tingling sensation, which indicates the effectiveness of the process and that the parameters have been chosen correctly.
At the end of the procedure, a special cream or mask is applied to soothe the skin and reduce redness.

How a session takes place in our clinic
In our clinic, we remove vessels using the Medart device (Denmark).
This device has two versions of the laser beam – 2.5 mm and 1.2 mm in diameter, for vessels of different sizes. This allows us to work with thin vessels on the face, as well as with vessels on the body and legs.
