Ultrasound therapy
Ultrasound therapy in cosmetology is a modern treatment method that uses ultrasonic waves to affect the skin of the face and body. This method can be used for various cosmetic procedures, such as skin cleansing, moisturising, etc. The therapy results in improved blood microcirculation, seborrhoea, reduced puffiness, wrinkles, and improved overall skin condition.
Stages of the procedure
Like all cosmetic procedures, ultrasound therapy begins with a thorough cleansing of the skin from make-up and impurities. That is, we wash and tone the skin.
Ultrasonic peeling. It is usually carried out with a special spatula on special preparations applied to the skin - cream-gommage or gel. It allows for deeper skin cleansing due to ultrasonic micromassage.
Phonophoresis. After cleansing the face from the previous stage, a special mask or serum is applied to the skin (often both in sequence), and the active substances are introduced into the deep layers of the dermis using ultrasound in the phonophoresis mode. The procedure is completed by applying an additional mask to soothe the skin.

How is ultrasound therapy performed at Ankor clinic?
The ultrasound therapy procedure in our clinic can be either independent or additional to other procedures. Sometimes only one of its phases is used – only peeling or only phonophoresis.
This allows us to achieve a greater effect when applying masks and serums, additionally affecting the sebaceous glands and normalising their function.
We work on the therapeutic device UZMT 2.12-01, as well as on the cosmetic combined device MIT-11 Galatea.

Benefits and results of ultrasound therapy
Ultrasound therapy is the use of ultrasonic waves to penetrate deep into the skin, where they stimulate cell regeneration and improve blood circulation. It helps to accelerate wound healing, normalise sebaceous glands, tighten pores, relieve inflammation and reduce swelling.
- Helps to moisturise the skin by increasing the skin’s permeability to moisturisers. This is particularly beneficial for dry and dehydrated skin.
- After undergoing a course of ultrasound treatments, you will notice an improvement in skin texture, a reduction in wrinkles and other skin imperfections, and a healthier, more radiant appearance.
